The professional driver from Westwood shared a Porsche 996 Turbo with the French crew of Gilles Vannelet, Philippe Ullman und Jonathan Hirschi in the FIA-GT's season highlight.

Organisational problems meant the Belgian PMB team could not prepare the car in time for practice and qualifying. In the race, Kaufmann spent some 2 hours ans 36 minutes behind the wheel of the Porsche, before one of his team mates had to park the car out on the track with a broken gearbox in the early hours of the morning.
