24.11.08 SCUDERIA LAVAGGI takes the Pole Position at the 6 Hours of Vallelunga

The LAVAGGI LS1 – AER, built by the Monegasque team bearing the same name, is taking part in the final endurance race of the 2008 season, the famous 6 Hours of Vallelunga with Giovanni Lavaggi and Wolfgang Kaufmann

Having been in the top spots in both free practice sessions already, Lavaggi/Kaufmann clinched Pole Position in the afternoon qualify putting in a time of 1 min 26.77 seconds, an advantage of 0,6 seconds against his closest rivals.

“I'm really happy for Giovanni and his team Scuderia Lavaggi, that there amazing efforts are showing progress. It's the first pole position for the Dunlop equipped LMP 1 car designed and build by Giovanni Lavaggi. I hope we will get the since long time deserved result for our tyre partner Dunlop, Giovanni and his team. We are a fantastic driver combination, we will try to win 6h Vallelunga 2008” explained Wolfgang Kaufmann.
